What Is The Best Anxiety Medicine To Take For PD That Doesn't Interfere With C/L?
I just need a little something because when I am anxious, my PD symptoms are evident even with the C/L.
Thanks
Breathing and mindfulness exercises were the first prescriptions ever written for this. If it’s generalized anxiety it will respond to this, but it takes practice. Down the road this is an excellent solution. The very best solution, but in the short term, I’d go with medication.
Not a bit.
That would be the time to check with your neurologist or primary care doctor. I have generalized anxiety disorder, have had it for the last 45 years -- I take an antidepressant to smooth over the anxiety and I will take a small dose of Alprazolam (generic for Xanax) if anxiety is going too strong, It does not appear to interfere with the C/L. The anxiety if moderate to severe DOES make me much more symptomatic than usual.
I have taken Buspar before, twice a day. THat seems to help.
For general Depression/anxiety I take welbutrin every morning and lexapro at night. On an "as needed" basis, When I have an anxiety attack I take clonazepam Which is generic for klonopin. My prescription is for a 1/2mg once or twice a day. It helps and does not seem to interfere with C/L
