Wendy, Same for my husband. He started having constipation in the late nineties and was misdiagnosed with essential tremor in 2006, then correctly disgnosed with PD in 2009.. As with you, there were other little synptons very early on we attributed to something else..

I started having constipation and hard stools in my late 40s, but I wasn't diagnosed with Parkinson's until I was in my mid 70's. I had more of those little symptoms that go unnoticed or are attributed to something else as I got older. We need more education for this for both doctors and general public.
