Good sleep, good nutrition, exercise, activity, and a positive attitude.
The first two are obvious. If you want to be healthy you eat right and get proper rest.
Exercise is also imperative for good health, but for Parkinson’s it’s an imperative. Any muscle your not working is an invitation to Parkinson’s to move in and wreak havoc.
Activity is in the same vein. You don’t feel great so you stop doing things you used to do. Bad idea. Force yourself to do those things. Drag yourself there if you have to. You’ll thank yourself if you do.
That brings us to the most important thing of all. A positive attitude. You can’t do anything without it. It’s like that little fish Dory. You just keep swimming. If you believe you can do it, you can.
Some of the people you’re talking to are in pretty bad shape, but you’d never know. They’ll never show it. They’ll be here for you every step of the way. Rooting you on.
