What Are Your Hopes For PD In 2017 ?
I had a fairly good year in 2016, with my YOPD. I hope this year will be fine
I hope that people understand parkos a lot more and we can all help in some way to assist with ongoing research which may one day save our lives. I am going to do whatever I can for the Australian Parkinson's Foundation this year.
Let's face it, we in Australia where 24000 people are diagnosed with PD get $23000 from our Australian Government. So proud of this country - YES! So proud of our Government - NO NO NO!
Let's have an awesome year, it will be a great one I am sure. Best wishes to you all my friends x
Amen to that!!
Hi Klow....I admire you for that..the only thing I can do is donate to the Michael J Fox foundation and I always like to hear him say..we are going to find a cure. Now that they showed a video of a man with PD having had Dickensia very bad and they gave him a marijuana pill and in just seconds he was just like normal. We are very popular now. I say right on to anything that can help us..I have fought this disease for 15 long years going on 16 and I guess it is killing me now. They also have stem=-cell treatments that they are doing studies on, and helping PD patients,, so there is hope!!
I am so tired of having pain every day of my life...and it gets so bad..very intense at different times each day..but I know I'I have to say positive or it gets worse. So yes , lets have an awesome year and we will all band together and say a prayer that in the year of 2017 Parkinson's disease finally has a cure!!!!
To continue my exercise classes, hope a cure is in sight for
this new year 2017!
A very HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017 to all!
Grateful to be doing all that I am doing for as long as I can do it.
