I use the back & the forward arrows on the top left of my computer screen.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member -You said you post to respond and never see it & no one responds. Be sure to use the @ sign in front of the name of the person you are talking to, or they will not be notified that you said something to them. If you use the @ then that person will get a notification (the bell in the upper right) that you wrote to them. I get frustrated to accidentally find a wonderful response someone wrote to me without putting @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member in their post & I haven’t seen it for months, or even years!
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member & @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - The bell is the first place I go on this website. If I am looking for an older notification, I click the bell, then click [+ View all Notifications] in the blue rectangle.
Also if you go to the menu on the upper right (the 3 gray horizontal lines) then [my profile], then [my updates], you can review what you have written that actually got posted.
But also check the bell & [+ View all Notifications] & try clicking the picture of the person you are looking for to see what they have written.
Sometimes MPT won't post something that is too long. @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - I get around that by writing in Google docs (you can get it for free) or another word processing app, then cutting & pasting ½ my post (I put at the beginning "post 1 of 2" then at the beginning of the 2nd ½ "post 2 of 2"). Most posts have the option to edit or delete them if you click the v in the orange circle at the upper right of your post after it has posted.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - the story updates bother me too. Perhaps members like Jeri who enjoy updating their story a lot could put the date & a bracket around the new sentences that would help their friends & fans find the new part. For example: [4/13-new Tremble Clefs schedule - While many classes are returning to their regular sessions in Arizona, there are 2 sessions that will remain virtual]
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member & @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - To find your question & the responses, use the menu on the upper right (the 3 gray horizontal lines), then [my profile], then [my q+a].
The MPT website is so much easier for me to use than PatientsLikeMe, MJF Parkinsons Buddy Network, or Facebook Parkinson’s Community, which I also write for. But feel free to check them out & see what works best for you. I find writing is a great way to combat cognitive degeneration. Well, I think I got all my @’s in, so you should all get a notification of this post. I am happy to answer website navigation questions, but be sure to put @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member in your question, so I actually receive it!

MPT has lost too many of my posts, even when I have completely finished my post & just left the website to find a picture. I use the "back" arrow at the top left of the screen, and sometimes use the "forward" arrow too. I have to be careful, but usually I can find it at this point. I still find it safer to write my entire post on a word processing program, then cut;-and paste
