Sweeping

I was just wondering if anyone else found it difficult to sweep floors? Manuvering a broom and stepping is difficult and i feel so uncoordinated

It just gives me one more thing to trip over. For some reason my body goes in the same diretion that the broom goes in and then i end up stepping on the broom. Completely uncordinated! Be careful!

Nice to find someone who does. You can ask your neurologist about that. If you can’t find someone, physical therapy would probably help anyway. Ask your doctor about that too.

Physical Therapy definitely helps. If you can find someone who specializes in PD it makes huge difference !

That’s when I’m apt trip over my feet. One foot wants to go, but the other doesn’t turn. Physical therapy has helped but I still have to be conscious of it.

I havr a very hard time sweeping or even walking when my meds are not working. Vacuuming too!
