Do You Have A Hard Time Sleeping At Night?
I do have problems sleeping at night. My wife noticed that I have a hard time sleeping at night. Is there something that I can take when I visit the doctor.
As a care taker, my wife is now residing at a nursing home, and she has a tendency to try to sleep during the day and up at night. The Doctor has adjusted her meds to get her to sleep at night..... Prior to the RN home she would stay up at night and while I was at work during the day , she fall asleep in her wheelchair or bed and sometimes fall out of the wheel chair as she slept and leaned forward. Prior to going to the RN home from the Hospital -- the Doctor did not believe me when I would explain the above sleep habits.
I was having a very difficult time with sleep and having horrible nightmares. My Parkinson’s specialist put me on a .5mg of clonazapam before bed and the nightmares have gone and I sleep better though I still have lots of dreams.
I wsnt to walk without a walker
Bed rails on the side of the bed might help
Clonazepam has help my husband with PD (and me in bed w him) sleep for years and stop the terrible scarey acting out dreams . Now also takes Trazadone for sleep also
Good luck
