This is top of my list: join a group specifically for people with PD. Mine is a dance group but it can be anything. I know that it doesn’t matter how bad l feel or if l’ve achieved something which doesn’t seem that spectacular l
have a group of people who understand. My singing is awful: they let me sing. I write fairly good poetry : they always listen. They are the people who , apart from family, really know me.
I take magnesium go to bed. It helps with leg cramps and with the constipation. I also been taking an over-the-counter supplement called ashwagandha. My son did some research and they use ashwagandha as part of the treatment for Parkinson's I believe in India. I ask my neurologist if it was okay to take and he said yes.
I'm going to invest in a silent vibrating wrist timer as a bugger for forgetting time to take meds and find alarms really annoying. I have been looking on Amazon and here are a couple. The first is not what i'm after but thought some might prefer as quite large and an easier to attach strap. Not water proof but think easy to take on or off so reduces the stress of that. A reasonable price also. Reviews are slightly in favour by say 60 - 40. Sorry for small pic and if not from uk they'll be alternatives where you're from
Never let anyone stop you from doing something you still can and want to because you have PD, especially yourself.
