Medication Change. Siniimet To Madapar
I've been advised to try Madopar instead of Sinimet. Has anyone used both. Know we all react differently but did anyone have very noticeable reactions. I get some dyskenesia with Sinimet.
@MyDogScooby- hi I have been taking Madopar since my diagnosis in 2016,
Initially I felt nausea with taking it but not anymore. I have taken the capsules and dissolvable tablets and have never dissolved them, just swallow with water. Also take Sinemet at night, and have no problems with it.
When I started on the Madopar in 2016 I felt that it changed my life, I was able to feel almost “normal “ again.
Hope all will be well for you
Lyney
Sorry dissolvable
We are all different, and sometimes PD turns out to be Atypical parkinsonism and levodopa doesn't work for long, or at all. It makes me drastically sick; so much so that I can't stop vomiting at all, until I get it out of my system.
Elbow bump,
Teresa
I always add that to any question I answer about meds I take because we are all different so we don’t react the same way
