My husband had DBS, by lateral frontal lobe placed in 2013. The on and off swings in his medication has be come very , great. When the DBS was switched on was the first time I saw him at rest in about 5 years. My husband was 56 yrs old when his DBS was placed. I know it helped because there was I time he was walking 5-7 miles every other day. As the PD progressed I often wondered how bad would the tremors be if he didn’t have the DBS. Now it did come with some chk implications but I think the positives out weighed the negatives in his case. Best of luck 🙏🏻,
