Just watch out for (and more importantly your spouse/caregiver watch for) subtle changes in behavior or mood. I took Mirapex for 5 years and slowly over that time developed some horrible side effects; gambling, and other impulse control issues. Things I never did, EVER, before. When finally stopped taking it all the issues stopped. Research it, as many as 15% of people who take it have this and it comes on insidiously!!!!

I will share more if interested; can be a miracle drug, but very destructive side effects with grave consequences.

I take .5mg tablet x 3 daily of Pramipexole. I do fall asleep anywhere. I am tired all the time, but I also take other meds like gabapentin 600 mg tablets x 2 once a day. Several of my other drugs give sleepiness as a side effect. It seems I can't win ... I am goiiiiiiinnnnnnggggg tooooooo zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
