My husband had intermittent off/on of his DBS about 3 months after it was installed. We accidentally discovered when he was buckling his seat belt that it would come back on. If he found it was not working, he would breach across his chest like he did buckling his seat belt, it would come back on. We went to doctor about it and they said they may have to do exploratory surgery to discover if there is a short in the wiring. This went on for some time intermittently (about 2 months) and after a while it quit doing it. He had the battery for 2-1/2 years and it was replaced. His other side started having tremors and he had another DBS implanted. We have had no further problem with the intermittent on/off of the DBS for either side. Just wanted to share this situation and hope that your problem is remedied soon. Do be proactive.

I am unfamiliar with DBS generator. My guy has DBS and had his battery changed. Is that the same?

My husband had his battery replaced one year ago. No problems with it. I agree, you probably need to have yours fine tuned. Good luck
