Any Tips On Living Well Despite Parkinson's ?
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member: When I was a manager for a large retail company, I constantly preached that "Your altitude is based on your attitude." Like any other setback that was ever visited upon me, I determined that Parkinson's would not get the best of me. I deal with it by using humor and self-deprecating jokes (I was going to open an ice cream shop until I realized that I could only serve shakes). I am of the opinion that one is never given a burden that you cannot bear. I have a wonderful support group of my wife, son, Facebook Friends, my 14 doctors (each for some different ailment), and my physical therapy team.
You can live as well as you wish. You can sull up like a 'possum (I am from the Southern United States so send me a message via this medium or by email at (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators); did you see what I did there; yswords= wise words) for an interpretation) or you can embrace the disease and play the cards that you have been dealt.
Here is to hoping that you have a wonderful, stress free day.

Dadums56, this is Dave. Bill that's exactly the way I try to live my life. If more people lived their lives like that there would be a lot less crime and prison overcrowding. God bless you.
