Does Anyone Find It Difficult To Go On Vacation With PD?
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member We think about what I can and cannot do and plan our vacation around that. I feel better staying in the US and I take all my needs in one large suitcase. A travel bed rail, Folding step stool. Bed pad. etc.
If you plan I am sure you can go and have a wonderful time.
I find that stress is one of Parkinson's biggest problems. So when I go on vacation, or any other different change in my routine, the anticipation is bothersome, but once I get there I am better than normal.
Planing I need, if dinner, or visiting in evening Imhave to go easy that day, relax take a nap, after 2 hours of restaurant or visiting I come home right to bed
I feel the same way, I am tired all the time. But change of environment and place affect me soothing
Yes, we haven't been on a real vacation in the past 5 years, I'm a 9 year P.D patient. By the time I get dressed I'm tired, so visits to parties etc. don't last long , usually 2 hours tops,I get home and go right to bed. I'm worn out....anxiety I guess, home is most comfortable. Doesn't matter if it's morn, noon or nite Intirecwhere ever I go and get restless,I try to rest before events
