Young Onset Parkinson's Disease?
A person diagnosed with young onset Parkinson's Disease is diagnosed UNDER the age of 40.
A person diagnosed with Early onset Parkinson's Disease is diagnosed OVER the age of 40 but under the age of 60.
I was diagnosed with YOPD right after my 34th birthday, 4 years, 1 month, and 28 days ago and I'm still in charge of my life.
I was 39. I guess just on the cusp of being young onset and early onset. Now I am just an "old" lady, but still working, living, and being as active as I can, when I can. It has been a daily battle for the last 27 years, but I try to stay positive and not let Parkinson's define who I am. When I was diagnosed I had 3 young children. Everyday I put on my game face and I fought. I am still fighting amidst the daily struggles.
I had it right before my 40th birthday.I had the resting tremors thinking it was a nervous breakdown and never gave it any thought it.was Parkinson's Disease. Cashier recognizing the tremors and I thought it was too much caffeine, and never thought it was Parkinson's. In Late 2015, I noticed more symptoms and then decided I need not get checked out. On January 26, 2016, I got my.official diagnosis it's Parkinson's Disease.

In Canada these are the terms to describe Parkinson's Disease. I've seen a lot and I do not want to comment on Parkies over the age of 60s. I'm also not a doctor.
In 3 Mos.my Husbands Neurologist Went From Saying He Was First Steps Of PD To Dementia. This Is In Form Of A Question?
