Does Anyone Use A Stationary Exercise Bike For Their PD? I Am Looking For Something Light Weight And Relatively Inexpensive

I purchased an Exerpeutic Recumbent Cycle from Amazon.com. It was $400 but they have 3 or 4 less expensive models . The feature that sold me on the Exerpeutic was that it has arms that help keep me seated. My balance is poor so my husband straps me in with a gait belt when I am having on of those days.

I purchased one at Goodwill for 15 dollars. Has mph on it. and distance. I try to ride 4 miles day.

A friend of mine with PD purchased a motorized cycle through Amazon. She sits in her chair and uses with her feet or places it on the table and uses her arms. It is motorized with several different speeds.

I would find it too punishing on my joints as I have replacement knees yes if your joints aren't painful.
