YES! It was the first thing I got for my husband. The guy came and put it together no problem. It is very safe. The safety features seem so low tech, but they work. You can choose to power it yourself through your own leg/arm power also. My husband chooses that still! My husband used it a lot at first. Then he kept quitting. Now many years later he is on it every day again. We have had no trouble with the machine-its been like 6 years or maybe 7 or 8! The only thing that caused a problem for my husband was when he used the arm motion along with the legs his back would move forward and plop back - he finally listened to me that your back should stay still. He just needs to adjust the seat to be comfortable. Unfortunately, instead of letting me help him adjust the seat, I think he kind of gave up on the arm part. I am not saying anything though because at least his legs are getting circulation. He does the legs while listening to a book on tape and that motivates him. It's a LIFESAVER because he doesn't even want to walk to the car in winter and is not walking. He is also not walking because of achilles tendon issue. So the bike is REALLY GOOD. It's totally worth the money and maybe even your insurance might pay for some of it.
Thank you
