I'd Love To Know What Others Are Doing To Help With Their Condition?
My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's 2 years ago and I am trying to research as much as I can on ways of slowing the progression of the condition down and giving him the best quality of life as possible. I've read some people have been able to overcome the condition and hope the same for my father.

I have had PD for 10 years, and have researched it extensively. So far, Rock Steady boxing and yoga help the most. Meds have to be constantly adjusted. I have read where many people have gotten free of PD through meditation practices. I am looking into that now.
My husband reminds me to keep m y head up and not tilt it down and when walking and the therapist have tried to do this also when I idd my big lou therapy y about a year ago
Yoga helps a lot and so does stretching for me. I push myself aliottle although have discovered a lot of people my age aren't leaping and bounding with or without PD
Thanks for this David. I've just searched Rock Steady boxing and don't seem to see any programs available here in Australia unfortunately. From the videos I have seen it looks like its benefiting people with Parkinson's greatly, so would really like my father to start this type of exercise. Will also look into meditation practices. Thank you so much for your response and letting me know about these exercises.
Thank you Jud, will look at all those links you've posted. You do a lot of different exercises, that's so awesome! Thank you so much for responding and taking the time to list all these different links, its greatly appreciated.
