Stress, Nervous, Worried?
I have noticed that when I am stressed, nervous, or worried. the tremors appear more. Is this how PD is? or am I just making excuses as to when I have tremors?

I think it is very common for those of us with PD to have tremors with nervousness & stressful situations. As far as crying I know I cry at the drop of a hat. I even get tearful over commercials at times! My neuro dr told me it is very common to be emotional. I'm sure people are curious about what is going on with me at times. I had only told a few people as well now if someone asks me I just tell them I have PD & educate them. Hang in there Maryann & take care & God Bless!
When my hubs gets stressed he shakes more....his right arm...then it stresses me more!
Anything that puts pressure on you, whether it is stress, nerves, etc. will cause the Parkinson's symptoms to get worse.
Yup ... between my brother, wife and others in our support group, not one of them can handle stress without symptoms being exacerbated. those symptoms range from tremors to hand fidgeting or inability to really have a conversation. Just the way it is. We do our best to avoid any type of stress for Judy and we do know many of the triggers, and you learn others by watching. Our best
Nervous, stress, anxiety, drama and missing or running late on my med makes me fall off balance .
