Hi 4diane2, Yes I am using a pump, it is called Duo Dopa. I have been using it for about 18 months and I am a lot better than I was. the only down side is that is heavy carrying it around all the time and having problems with the tube. But at least I can function and that is a blessing

I'm off the charts hypersensitive to the meds. I take Amantadine 100mgs and 2 kinds of Sinemet. I can only tolerate 1/2 of a 25/100mgs CR tablet in the morning and again in the early evening. But having trouble with bad Dystonia by 2:00 in the afternoon. My doctor added 1/2 tablet of 10/00mgs regular Sinemet and that seems to be working...for now. For the last 18months it's been a constant series of medication 'tweaks'. Hope that helps.

My husband takes the medication 20 minutes before eating. Some days he gets nauseated so he eats as swoon as he starts feeling bad. Also he eats a lot of ginger snaps to "sweeten up" his stomach.

I take C/L 2 pills 3 times a day. I only get 3 1/2 out of each dose.

I have just started on carbidopa/levodopa 25/100 - 3 x day; gabapentin 300 mg - 3 x day; clonazepam l mg pm. I was previously on Requip XL 6 mg l x day but started having side effects. So far this meds are doing good.
