Does Anyone Else Experience Quicker Wearing Off Of Their Meds When Traveling?
I find when we fly somewhere that my meds don't work as well or as long as they do when I'm home. Is it just me?
Maybe it's just because you're excited or a little bit nervous. I've noticed that anytime I'm not calm and peaceful I seem to have more symptoms .
Again, it's all that sitting. On the plane, waiting here and there, rental car sitting, think how your movement changes when you notice your meds aren't as effective. Try journaling in a small notebook you keep in your pocket. Might find clues that only you can uncover. Your MD can't know what you do, only you can.
I've noticed that a little bit when I traveled earlier this year. I also find that if I exercise or exert myself physically that my meds wear off faster. Stress of traveling or activity seems to cause a quicker use of the medication dosages.
I tbouht it was just me. Good to know I'm not alone. Airport and pre-trip planning and getting on plane produce symptoms right away.
My meds wear off the instant I get upset or expel any extra energy.. I am glad it’s not just me.
