Did Anybody Heard Of An Akinetic Rigid Parkinson?

I finally found out I have an akinetic rigid parkinson.
I wonder how fast it will progress 🤔

I’m glad they finally named it. Now they can stop telling people without a tremor, they don’t have PD.

Knowing that I am not alone in this difficult situation gives me the strength to go on and encourages me to face the future. I am going to see an orthopedist in a couple of weeks to find out if there is a wearable device that can help with the weakness in my right leg and improve my walking.

Sophia2, I do not know that much about this particular type of PD, but I would like to find out more. Every PD member has their on road to travel, but you have a type that perhaps can be helped by medical professionals in this field. Sophia, May God bless you and give you the strength to continue down this road. Please stay in touch, we all know these challenges that PD brings us daily.
