It's called Pseudobulbar effect, common in all disorders in the the parkinsonism family; probably for other reasons but definitely many Parkinson's people have it. I'm uncertain of any medications for it but I wouldn't take any. It's not a serious problem in my mind.

I cry at commercials. Prior to PD I was very stoic. Since PD. My emotions bubble up at the mist inopportune times. I also have outbursts and get argumentative.
