Some days symptoms are under control or good things are happening. Some days symptoms are out of control or bad things are happening. Some days are a mixture of both. It has nothing to do with deserving it. "The rain falls on the just and unjust alike." Same with disease.

It's important to acknowledge that living with Parkinson's disease can be challenging and it's natural to have a range of emotions. Here are some insights from my knowledge base that might help:

- Setting Boundaries: It's crucial to set and defend boundaries to manage your symptoms and maintain your well-being. For example, if someone pressures you to attend an event, you can explain that Parkinson's doesn’t take a day off, so you will still be unavailable.
- Managing Expectations: Use clear, direct language when setting boundaries. For instance, saying "I cannot attend the birthday party" is more effective than being vague.
- Support Systems: Having allies who understand the challenges of Parkinson's can help you defend your limits with others.
- Self-Care: Remember, you don’t need to apologize for setting boundaries that help you stay healthy and manage your symptoms.
