I had anxiety, stress & major depression for many years prior to diagnosis of Parkinson’s. With the meds i am now on along with the Parkinson’s meds it is relatively resolved. Also had Inspire surgery for sleep apnea and getting up to 10 hours sleep a night. Average sleep is 6-7 hours. It’s making a difference in my mental health.

I had Panic attacks for years and took Xanax just to keep the attacks at bay. I tried many antidepressants to no avail. Then I tried Paxil, and the attacks stopped I still have some Xanax for certain situations like flying.

Nice to hear from you, Nigel. I had Chronic depression and anxiety for years that resulted in several panic attacks that drove me to go to the emergency room. Finally after a knowledgeable doctor and patient doctor I received the appropriate medication, which gave me a chance to have an attitude adjustment.. My neurologist is treating me for that as part of the Parkinson’s symptoms I have and I have not had problems with it. There are a lot of people here that love you willing to help in anyway possible, including just listening.
