Is it just me ? Does anyone else ? Hi. ......is having a good day. Cliche after cliche, repetitive questions always the same answers. I'm having a dig at no one except myself. I don't want to write a book in replying to posts but equally what can be done to encourage creative writing, something that holds people's interest and stretches those brain cells that are left. John, the saying goes "sarcasm is the lowest form of wit" I belive both sarcasm and humor (not jokes as some think) is the prerogative of only the intelligent. I have yet to come across anyone practicing either who isn't intelligent !!!

Hi Phil, I can see where questions are the same for those that have been on this site for a while but being a newbie any encouraging words from others in my same boat is totally uplifting for me. I have been very depressed and I love coming here for answers but more than that, for acceptance, hope and especially humor! Your sense of humor is refreshing and I hope this post will inspire you to keep on helping others like myself. πŸ’™

I love to write. There's not much else I can do and I often have to use humor to make it through a day without resorting to a pity party (which is always a party of one). Paraphrasing a passage in Psalms, "laughter does good like a medicine". I also believe that those of us who dwell on the disease itself leads to depression. It's a hole that can only be rescued from by at least a smile even when you can't laugh...but find a laugh every single day!
