Carvo, word check error
I have had the same gastric issue with coughing. My GI doctor performed an upper gastroduodenoscopy. The results showed stomach fluid reaching my upper trachea. Chest x-ray was neg for infection. I didn’t want a prescription for anything. I told him that I would raise my head of bed at home and take over the counter antacids. Further, I would return as soon as I feel that burning feeling. He also found a pancreatic shelf in my stomach. It’s non functioning and 1% of the nation are born with one. Anyway, the PD is starting to cause this burning and stomach fluids to escape from my stomach into my trachea. The cargo-levadopa was also increased.
Hope you find out what’s going on with you. This was my experience.
I’m a PA so I run through my head what this might be. I appreciate any feedback and of course I’ve discussed with my neurologist. Their reply was a quick one and not very helpful.
