Moved from a 4 bedroom home to a two bedroom condo after my diagnosis. Updated our wills, and living wills. Gave away most of our furniture, etc., first to our children and grandchildren, then to relatives finally to the diabetes people who came and picked things from our driveway. It was sad at the time, but now I’m glad we did all that while still able. Go for it now sunshine1012. You’ll be relieved. Hugs and good luck

Yes....Trying to go through the things I have and give to Salvation Army. I find it is easier to keep my house clean with fewer things to gather dust.

It’s tricky to get the level of balance between the need to do stuff whilst you have the energy , and the inevitable reduction in your body and brain will be on the same wavelength

RevaWoods,
Yes, yes and yes to what you are asking. Esp. hard when you have 50 plus years to get rid of stuff plus several things from doing other people's wills. Yikes, some days do not know where to start. Starting with all old clothing. Just packing it up and donating it all. It's a start. My hub just saw his Neuro dude last week and he has changed and upped his meds. Upped his levo carb and added depo something. Anyone know about this drug an take it??? Perhaps you could let me know. Thanks would be appreciated. Praying for those in Florida and those poor folk in NC who have lost so much my heart goes out to them all. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Take care, BFN! Colleen❤️😬🙏🦃🤗😊

We have been living in a 2 bedroom duplex. We have also downsided our furniture. Now getting my husband to get all of his collectibles boxed up. But he loves them out so I let him because it's bad enough he has to deal with my PD. I did get a life insurance policy I already have a POA but we don't have a will because we have spent all of our life savings.
