How Often Did Noddy Have His Car Serviced ?

Forget it, this is the question. Am I alone in feeling I can barely take care of myself let alone think about a hobby or interest ? I read some posts and I think wow if you'd been born a few centuries earlier there may well have been a book named after you in the bible ! 😁

I try to cook without chopping a finger off. I clean house as best I can. Otherwise I watch a lot of TV, read and hang out on-line. That's it. No writing, no crafts, no jewelry making, no knitting, no etc.etc.etc.etc. because I no longer have any fine motor skills. And yes, at times I get pretty bummed out about it, but then I pull out of it. I have a roof over my head, food, a tiny dog, a few friends, and a son and granddaughter who only live 20 minutes away. There's good and bad and I'm still around. Give me a few days though....by then I'll be totally ticked off at the world again. 🙄

Positive mentally is no.1 and the rest will come into place. Lots of people are dealt a bum deal,.... it's how you play your cards that counts.

Hi Clem2.
I feel as if a discussion about sex, or lack there of, is important. I'm sure most people find it in bad taste to talk about. I, however, feel it is or was, a part of our life. I for one miss it.
This does not mean "dirty" talk, but an adult, frank discussion would be refreshing and possibly helpful for some.

I don't like to write about my bad days. I know I'll never be the same as before PD. But I have to accept it. Me and my worn out body have to carry on. When my 1st husband died, 17 years ago, my whole life and being changed. I fought for years to get "my self" back, then realized that is not going to happen. That's how i am looking at PD now. Anyways......come on Phil. I depend on your comical self. Your wild man. You're a good man...
