Dyskinesia? Bicycling ??

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question πŸ’
Mesa, AZ

Last night I spent hours bicycling in bed. All night long my legs were going in circles like I was on a bicycle. I have had RLS in the past. This was not RLS. My legs were making large circling moves rubbing legs against each other, in regular smooth patterns.

Weird, huh?
Has anyone else heard of something like this?

It's so weird. I was taking Pramipexole for RLS also. And started to increase it. Then I started to have hallucinations. So it too a month to get off of it and my doc increased my C/L to help stop RLS.

Without gabapentin my neuropathy was unbearable. I have been taking 400 mg three times a day. 1200 mg total. It helps with my neuropathy but if I go any higher dosage it sets off RLS in a bad way.
It seems that with most medications you win some and then you lose some.

I'm having trouble sleeping due to my right leg hurting and at times I keep moving it in a circle

I take 900mg of Gabapentin a day. My RLS was not like that.

Thanks John, I've already been down that road. I'm taking 400 mg of gabapentin 3 times a day.
