I Started Taking Ongyntis About 6 Weeks Ago And Found It To Be A Big Help To Assist Me During My "off Time". What Are The Side Effects?

During the short time I'm taking the 50mg caps, I have been having weird dreams and a feeling of nausea when I wake up. They might be side effects of the meds. I have been taking carbidopa/levodopa for 5 years and I take the Ongyntis as a boost once a day at bedtime. The medication has no generic therefore it's expensive,

Ongentys (Opicapone) can indeed help manage "off" times in Parkinson's disease. However, it does come with potential side effects. Common side effects include:

- Blood pressure changes
- Dizziness or fainting
- Dry mouth
- Constipation
- Weight loss

Rare but serious side effects include:

- Heart problems
