Yes, but over time I found a direct relationship with stress level and the problem. Today I worry only about things I can improve or solve. Naps have been incredibly helpful, imagine yourself as a laptop computer that through overuse has heated up.
You would turn off the laptop and wait for it to cool down, this is us. We need to turnoff and nap.

Some Parkinson's Disease friends have said "but I am not tired!" AGREE but your body is sending warning signs that it is tired. We need to pay attention to the body and shut down our warning signs. The nap does not need to be hours, the majority of my time at nap is 60 - 75 minutes.

I hope this helps you 😉

Janet, shoulder replacement by any chance. I can't count the number of shoulder surgeries I had before replacements first on one, a few years later the other one. I got back 95% on both by the time I finished rehab. Hang in there and you will be in my prayers. Getting angry at someone who says you'll never do well enough to make it worth it really helps a lot; prove them wrong.

Hi Rose, I have the same problems you mentioned. And I have the tremors too. The Carbodopa/ L-Dopa helps.

I suffer from pain Lower back, hip, thigh I gave stenosis but I do get muscle spasms and rigidity from the PD in my back and shoulders. That’s always a struggle. I do suffer from anxiety and have been diagnosed with MDD and GAD since 1989, I have developed many coping skills over the years and it seems better controlled anyway. From my reading it seems very common among PWP!
All my best
Blessings

I just got an electric recliner to help me stand up. With my upcoming surgery on my shoulder I will need it.
