I have read that people see good results with the technique and as I understand is less invasive than DBS. My father had DBS last summer. It has improved his quality of life, but he must still rely on medication. My husband dx with YOPD is not at a place right now that this is needed, but I try to stay up to date with new treatment options in the event that he is in need. Dana, I would enjoy hearing the outcome of your HIFU consultation. I'm passing on DBS, have been tracking FU since its Israel beginnings. I'm not enough advanced yet but dominant side tremor is a bother. .Thanks and best,
