It's understandable to feel scared about considering Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson's. Here are some key pros and cons based on my knowledge base:

Pros:
- Significant Improvement in Motor Symptoms: More than 70% of people with Parkinson’s who receive DBS experience significant improvements in their motor symptoms.

Cons:
- Surgical Risks: DBS surgery carries risks such as blood clots, blood loss, infection, breathing problems, reactions to medication, and heart attack or stroke during the surgery.

It's important to discuss all your concerns with your neurologist to make an informed decision.
