Y'all have given me much to think about. This advanced Parkinson's is advancing a bit too fast for me and a lot for my husband. He hates seeing me in pain like this 😔 GOD gave me a good one 🥰 and I love him to death but we look over at one another with a lot of love and a bit of fear. The future is scary and there is no real 'action meeting ' process. So I rely on you and prayer 🙏 and my lifetime best friend and love of a lifetime.

I agree. Hospice is hard. My mom was in a NH only for hospice. I watched my mom in so much pain her last week. I had to hunt down the head nurse for pills. I complained to hospice....they were not happy. They let that NH have a big piece of their mind. After that, they were more attentive. My mom wanted hospice. She was 93. Her Dr at the hospital told me that she had 2-3 weeks to live. She told us more than once the past few years to just let her go. No resuscitation. She was ready to see my dad again. Oops, sorry for rambling on. Her 1 yr anniversary of her death was last week. I'm going to make myself cry if I don't stop now. Thanks!

Before my husband died the medical professionals convinced us to put him on hospice care. It was horrible. They quit taking his blood sugar, quit giving him insulin, quit caring for his diabetic foot injuries & quit his physical therapy. Fortunately once you decide to go on hospice you can go back off of it.
