Can One Be Misdiagnosed With Parkinson Vs Having Essential Tremors?

My doctor just added Primidone to help my tremors. The tremors are almost gone. Primidone is more for essential tremors, I think. If so could I've been misdiagnosed and not have Parkinson?

Essential Tremor is a tremor that occurs when you are using the affected body part. Parkinson’s is a testing tremor. It is possible to have both.
