How sad! What a lovely husband you are to write letters to your wife for her to find. Such precious keepsakes. She is lucky to have you.

I got myself a stamp with my signature and figured out how to print my first name with the stamp. I can print checks to my printer if I tape the blank check to the proper position on letter-size paper. I bought cards and send them to friends with a typed letter and my stamped signature.

I have been married 46 years and feel like the luckiest girl alive. He feels the same. :-) Take care.

I have battled micrographia for a couple years. I can write my name by only writing a few letters, pausing for a second, then doing a few more letters, pause, etc.. otherwise, after a few letters, it starts shrinking down to a wiggling line.
My wife and I have been married for 54 years and I always left hand written love notes and slipped them in her desk drawers, inside a book she was reading, taped to her mirror, etc. Losing the ability to write has been the hardest symptom of Parkinson's that I have had to come to terns with so far.
I signed a POA giving my wife full control over me and all our assets two years ago.

It is rarely necessary to write checks anymore. Talk to your financial institution about other alternatives.
