I do the same thing. Usually with one eye closed because my eyes do not focus and actually I walk around most of the time looking through one eye. Nothing they can do to help!

It sounds like your husband may be experiencing some nonmotor symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Here are some relevant points from the knowledge base:

- Speech and Swallowing Problems: Parkinson's can affect the nerves and muscles used for speech and swallowing, leading to issues like speaking quietly, having a monotone voice, stuttering, or slurring words. Swallowing problems can range from mild to severe, such as choking.

- Facial Masking (Hypomimia): This can cause a stony face and flat affect, making it hard to read facial expressions. It can also lead to speech changes, like speaking more softly.

- Hallucinations and Delusions: Some people with Parkinson's experience hallucinations and delusions, which can affect their perception of reality.

It might be helpful to discuss these specific symptoms with your neurologist or a healthcare provider to explore management options.
