Diag. 2021. Question.dr. Says my Parkinson’s apppers progress quick. But they still are “ruling out”🤫 PSP, Essental tremors , and LBD, or ALS. ??. Don’t they present difffrently?? Seeems like they back and forth between all . Also neurologist says you can be habve Parkinson’s and LBD?? but they supposed ly progress different timelines. LBD life range 3-5 years, Parkinson’s could be lot .more?? Some reealy bad days sone not so much… read more

If you have dementia, DBS won't help. It mostly helps with tremors and dystonia/dyskinesia. In the early stages, it is hard to differentiate between PD and the other Parkinsonisms. Sometimes it takes years to figure it out.

I find predictive text very useful as it definitely speeds up my messaging.
Speech to text also works well for me but that can only really be used when I am alone.

Bob I think Parkinson’s is different for everyone. I focus on what I can do and we try to walk twice a day and that helps my walking which is my only troubling symptom.
