to start! The medical community needs to have some knowledge beyond, I know Michael J. Fox has it doesn't he??. ( God bless him for all his work) . We need a basic understanding especially in a hospital setting. We could also use a little public information. That can also help with diagnosis. Had i seen a commercial that said Parkinson's isn't only the tremor you saw on your mother's uncle. It's not just a tremor!

But not quite the same disease, although researchers are saying they are more alike than previously thought; nevertheless they are two very different diseases. Autonomic Failure is no laughing matter no matter how much one enjoys laughing. That being said, I’m going home next week.

Well I already have the Dr. Quack degree so…I was originally diagnosed with PD but it was changed to MSA-C. That changed my life. If you look up TeresaBaker2, that has my story from way back. I couldn’t get into my account so this is a new one. You might learn some things from my real life experiences. @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member seems to have a library of information. He is on this site. He has an amazing amount of good information easily accessible. And any questions you have just ask.
