How Can I Walk Better? I Have Had A Home Health Therapist But My Left Foot Seems Stuck To The Floor!!
My Parkinson’s is all left side dominate and for awhile I had issues with feet sticking when body is trying to move forward. I had a candid conversation with my PD doctor and he increased one of my Parkinson’s medications and it helped a lot. The two that I was taking at the time were PRAMIPEXOLE and Carbidopa-Levodopa 25-100. I think it was the PRAMIPEXOLE that was changed.
I also deal with rigidity of muscles in the morning and when I brought that issue to the attention of my PD doctor he added another carbidopa-levodopa 50-200 (time-released) dose taken at bedtime usually around -10:30pm. It’s the last PD med for the day. My rigidity greatly improved.
I hope this has been helpful.-Michelle
