I was stopped Requip suddenly by a Dr from the team . I told the Dr that this should not be done. He shrugged his shoulders and said to me **See how it goes **. Leaving the clinic I knew I was doomed and I was correct sadly
I had Bradykinesia like I never had before, frozen episodes,I injured my meniscus in my left knee. I could hardly drink. I lost around 10 kg I don’t know how I survived.
A year later I am only halfway back. I will never forget that episode. I did make a complaint but got me know where.

I was on Arequipa and doctor stopped it all at once and I did have to wean myself off over a period of time! I recognized withdrawal from pain medication I received for massive rib fractures and they let me out of hospital without gradually reducing it and I ended up not being able to lay down , sit down , and ended up at ER and said the majic words and was then under 24 hour surveillance for about 7 days getting me off the drugs I was on for the chest surgery! It wasn’t a pleasant experience! I find the article on vascular parkinism interesting as my neurologist did an mri and ask me when I had my two strokes . I said you’ve got me because I never realized them and she had done 2 previous MRI’s that didn’t show the strokes !
