I Am Not On Any Meds Yet. If/when I Need To, Is This What I Am Really Going To Be Looking At In Terms Of Side Effects?
My husband took carbidopa-levodopa for 11 years, 4 times a day. He never experienced even one of those problems. Be sure to let your doctor know if you change what you are taking, that is important. Even over the counter things can have an effect on your Parkinson's meds. DO NOT stop taking any Doctor Prescribed meds without checking with your Neurologist first.
Those are possible side effects, not certain ones. My husband has been on carbidopa-levodopa for 4 years and hasn't had any serious problems. He was prescribed a couple of add-on medications and dropped them before any side effects manifested. They just didn't seem to make much difference.
