@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - Everyone is different with Parkinson's. Some people go 20 years with only minor progression, then go downhill more quickly; some will go from being healthy to a wheelchair in just a few years. A person who gets PD at 25 will have a different progression than someone who doesn't show symptoms until they are 80. A person who exercises consistently can slow down progression. A person with other major illnesses may progress much faster. It varies enormously. Parkinson's doesn't directly kill you, though falls or choking on food may shorten your life.
