Phil is not going to have many fiends left by advising them to pull all their teeth or make their tongues smaller!! On the other hand...

Phil, why would I take out perfectly good teeth? Is there a way to have the tongue and inner lip made smaller so they don’t get in the way of the teeth

I was diagnosed in 2007, about a couple years ago I noticed I had bitten my lip and/or tongue when chewing and not focusing on chewing with intent . (not chewing slowly and taking my time to insure proper chewing and swallowing). I noticed it occurs more often when I am starting to go fast and not paying attention to all the little things I have to reteach myself. I don't do it often but when I do, the discomfort is enough to remind me to slow down. I just credited it to another thing I have to relearn, that i started doing 60 some years ago. Like walking, chewing, talking, swallowing. I know for a fact my gait changed, so I assumed biting was another item on the list of gifts from PD. My Movement Disorder Specialiat never brought it up to me and I never remembered when I saw them, so it is just out there, and hasn't been major enough to cause me to worrry compared to the other things.
