"Can Parkinson's disease go into remission?
However, some studies have identified cases where Parkinson's disease symptoms disappear. In one study, a 78-year-old man experienced a remission of all symptoms 16 years after his diagnosis. Although full remission is very rare, it can happen in some cases."

Parkinson's progression is different for each person. Mine was slow at the outset but has progressed a bit faster in recent years. I think I remember my neurologist telling me that he was aware of only one documented case of PD going away. Even if there are others, it's extremely rare.

My husband is a wonderful caregiver. So far I am doing OK but who knows what the future will be for us. Have a happy Hump day.

" We concluded that Health Qigong exercises could reduce the symptoms of PD and improve the body functions of PD patients in both the mild and moderate stages of the disease. There were no significant changes for the control group compared with the experimental group [12]."

My original neurologist said I was a three on that scale. My new neurologist since I moved, does not use the scale. It depends on your doctor and how they approach your treatment.
