Yes, people diagnosed with Parkinson’s may experience pain in the nerves that run through the neck and shoulders. One member shared their experience, saying, “Does anyone else have severe pain in their neck and shoulders? I am dying here and hurting so bad.” Another mentioned dealing with an inflamed nerve in the shoulder blade, causing pain that interferes with sleep. It's important to discuss these symptoms with your healthcare provider for appropriate management.

Hello Denise! Yes, however I did not know that until I got my hearing aids about three weeks ago. It is very annoying and worrisome. About ten years ago, I had two or three vertebrae fused with great success. As I was typing, I realized that my headaches and neck pain have returned. Sounds like another doctor's appointment. Last week I had two more nerve block injections. I don't think that they are as successful as the previous injections. After the first set, I was feeling pretty good. Then, I was put on new medication which wrecked havoc with my PD, including six falls. I am still very angry about the medication with many precautions for Parkinson's, congestive heart failure, and restrective lung disease (all of which I have). My Cardiologist told me that I needed to stop them and scheduled an echo. I had my sixth fall, went to the hospital (nothing broken), then called that Dr to cancel my afternoon appointment. Since I was not hospitalized, I was charged for the failure to make my appointment.
