Anyone Have Chronic Pain Syndrome & Visual Hallucinations? What Do You Take For The Chronic Pain?

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
Providence, RI

Visual hallucinations are new for me. Just dx with PD today. Doc wants me to try to d/c the pain meds to see if that eliminates the hallucinations, but I still need something for pain. I'm currently using hydrocodone, codeine & buprenophine. What are you using for pain? Gaba hasn't helped in the past..

I take Meloxicam, which helps quite a bit. It has a 24 hour half life so it does build up in your system if you take it regularly - one tablet a day.

🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂s for those of us who are seeking answers to pain and that we receive respect, understanding and support, not suspicious questioning as to why we want medication. Do not tell me to take Tylenol!
