Does PD Cause Skin Problems?

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
Omaha, NE

I have had a red rash like 3" circle on my face including part of my nose and all of my mouth for about 3 weeks. Nothing seems to phase it. Got Dr appt in the morning.

Yes PD does also affect your skin. The medications add to it. Your legs can look blotchy and be dry. I have had the red circle looking spots . They went away.
I see my dermatologist every six months. I use sunscreen every day.
A dermatologist can help you

Does the rash look like a butterfly?

Pjaustin,
I do hope your doc can figure out what is causing the red circle on your face. Maybe try some cover up for the time being, it might make you feel better. Hope you have a good day today. Take care, BFN!❤️🤗😊
