Typically through a physical therapist preferably with a good rehab. You can also check with a company that I used to work for Hanger Clinic. Hanger has clinics all over the country but make sure you see an orthotist who has fit a number of them. Ask about their 2 week trial period.

The one I have is called “Walkaid “ and is used typically in people with drop-foot. Usually caused from a stroke, MS, brain injury or some type of upper motor neuron lesion. It can be very helpful for some people with PD to help them walk . I only use it in the exercise mode not for walking at this time. I use it for 5-10 minutes max. It works by sending an electronic signal to the perineal nerve in my upper calf causing my foot to respond to the impulse by pulling up and outwards.
